AJS Productions was proud to supply Lighting and sound hire for Northbrook College Theatres' recent production of Ghost: The Musical.
We've supported Northbrook with quite a few productions now, and we continue to provide top-tier lighting and sound solutions for their productions, helping students bring their creative visions to life with industry-standard equipment.
For Ghost, we delivered a tailored package of high-quality audio and lighting gear working with the student designers to supply exactly what they require, helping to reinforce the sound system and add dynamic visuals that enhanced the show's powerful storytelling. It's always a pleasure to work with the next generation of theatre professionals, and we look forward to supporting many more productions to come!

Lighting up St Mary's Church at Christmas
Christmas is one of our favourite times of year where we get to bring magic to peoples events.
One of our projects this year was to help elevate St Mary Church Broadwater's Carol and Christingle service. Having perviously installed a small lighting rig in St Mary's we knew what we were working with and integrated with their existing system.
Using an array of our IP rated lights we lit up their church yard & used one of our projectors to map graphics on the front of the church.
Inside the church we added some R2 washes and sunstrips for backlights and eye candy effects adding to the atmosphere inside the church.
We had the pleasure to once again work with the mind blowing magicians Jay & Joss on their 'Imagination' show at the Corby Core Theatre.
We supplied a flown and ground package lighting rig, full power distribution, comms & in ear monitors.
Not only that but we designed, programmed all of the lighting and then automated it so it would fire in time with all the illusions happening on stage.
We also provided stage management for the show ensuring the smooth & safe running of the show.
The night was a huge sell out success and we were proud of our work in making it look fabulous!

The Magic Circles
'Grand Night Of Magic'
Every 2 years the Magic Circle host their 'Stage Magician of the year' awards show which sees 6 nominated magicians compete for the coveted award.
This year we were tasked with designing, programming & operating the show. Our team liaised with each act before the performance to get a detailed plan of the lighting they required so that we were able to pre-program the show so on the day everything was as efficient as possible.
We provided an ETC EOS system but used the in house lighting rig due to time constraints. We worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure the show looked as spectacular as the acts performing.
After the sell out success of Sixteen earlier in 2024, which we also supported, LA Live productions asked us back to reprise the show in Littlehampton.
This time we provided an even bigger lighting package than the last with a fresh design making the production really pop. Our creative team worked round the clock to program in over 650 lighting cues all of which were timecoded into the show to ensure everything went on beat keeping the show smooth. Additionally we added in some cold spark machines to add an extra flair to the finale.
For the production we built a custom SIX sign which hung at the back of the stage with pixel tape to light it up throughout the show. Our crew also erected all of the set on the stage.
All of our creative effort combined with stunning performances made a truly unforgettable show that brought in a standing ovation every night.

'Grand Night Of Magic'
Jay & Joss are award winning magicians performing at the Magic Circles Grand Night Of Magic.
We worked closely with them to condense their 50 minute 'Imagination' show down into a 10 minute set for the competition. Our stage management team laid out a markup of the stage they'd be on in the rehearsal room and marked all of the illusions in the positions that would work in the venue.
We then worked on condensing the illusions down to make them as quick as possible and choreographed all the transitions between them.
On the day we loaded all of their set into the theatre, built the illusions and video wall & marked them in place.

Charity Concert
Each year we support a Musical theatre concert raising money for an alzheimer's charity.
This year we provided sound and lighting packages for the show. Our dedicated technicians worked with the event organisers throughout the day to ensure the concert looked and sounded how they wanted!
The event was, as ever, a huge success and AJS Productions are always proud to support such important causes.
Comms system for the Bognor Regis Model Railway Club
We work closely with the Bognor Regis model railway club to provide high quality comms systems when they attend large shows.
Where previously they'd use cheap two-way radios which were hard to communicate with, we now provide them with our Clear-com & Canford audio comms systems allowing for crisp communication down their layouts.
Each time they hire comms from us we provide them with a wiring diagram and prep looms of comms cable and body packs labelling and colour coding everything to ensure a very easy user friendly setup.
